Java程序生成乘法表

Java example complete list

In this program, you will learn how to generate a multiplication table for a given number. This is done by using for and while loops in Java.

Example1: Generate multiplication table using for loop

public class MultiplicationTable {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        int num = 5;
        for(int i = 1; i <= 10; ++i)
        {
            System.out.printf("%d * %d = %d \n", num, i, num * i);
        }
    }
}

When running the program, the output is:

5 * 1 = 5
5 * 2 = 10
5 * 3 = 15
5 * 4 = 20
5 * 5 = 25
5 * 6 = 30
5 * 7 = 35
5 * 8 = 40
5 * 9 = 45
5 * 10 = 50

You can also use the while loop in Java to generate the same multiplication table.

Example2: Generate multiplication table using while loop

public class MultiplicationTable {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        int num = 9, i = 1;
        while(i <= 10)
        {
            System.out.printf("%d * %d = %d \n", num, i, num * i);
            i++;
        }
    }
}

When running the program, the output is:

9 * 1 = 9
9 * 2 = 18
9 * 3 = 27
9 * 4 = 36
9 * 5 = 45
9 * 6 = 54
9 * 7 = 63
9 * 8 = 72
9 * 9 = 81
9 * 10 = 90

In the above program, unlike the for loop, we must increase the value of i within the loop body.

Although both programs are technically correct, it is best to use a for loop in this case. This is because the number of iterations is known (from1to10)
